different ways get better
There a lot ways to practice and get better in basketball. Practicing your lay-ups as a beginner and make sure you use backboard as guide. Also you can start practicing on your mid range shot but make sure your not too far from the basket. Doing this everyday will make you get better with your close range shot and lay ups. After a while you get use to shot at any angle of mid range shot you can start practicing on your 3pts shot. When practicing 3pt shot make sure your body is lined up correctly and ball should be lined with index finger for nice release. Good example of nice layup form is Rajon Rondo.
